Military blanket, IDF uniforms, Synthetic cotton wool, laser cutting, “Mohel” knives, flannel, computerized embroidery, mortar bomb, wine
100 cm

The work ‘An Eternal Covenant’ deals with the covenant which is made between the newborn son and his military service. It draws inspiration from the circumcision ceremonial table, the arrangement of which is supposed to produce a bright, pure and celebratory white. Instead, Amrani’s table is produced from military materials. The tablecloth with military decoration is cut from a scabies blanket, the pillow is made of uniforms, the bag for the knife is made of the flannel used to clean the weapon, and the mortar shell has been transformed into a kiddush cup.
